Boarding/Kennel

Due to our desire to provide boarding services for our clients, all holiday boarding reservations require a $50 deposit to secure the reservation. The deposit is refundable only if cancellation is made at least 72 hours prior to the day the boarding is scheduled to begin.

Canine Boarding

The Pet Resort at Village Gate Animal Hospital & Pet Resort contains 28 indoor/outdoor runs, where the indoor area is at least 4’x4’ and the door to the “outside” area is at least 4’x10’. The inside of the run is temperature controlled and is where our guests love to keep their food, water and special reminders of home that help them sleep while they are away from you. The outside area of the run fluctuates with the outdoor temperature, although it is contained inside the warehouse. This provides your pets with an area to stretch their legs or take care of bathroom emergencies if they don’t take care of them on the two scheduled walks a day.

Requirements

All dogs must provide evidence of current vaccination for rabies, distemper combo and bordetella (given within the last 6 months). All dogs must have a negative heartworm test within last year and a negative fecal floatation within the last 6 months.

Feline Boarding

The Pet Resort at Village Gate Animal Hospital & Pet Resort contains several multi-level cat condos with separate areas for the kitty litter boxes and secured areas for the water and food bowls. In addition, clients with multiple cats have the option of having a multiple condo complex by reserving adjacent condos and opening the door between them.
