Dr. Erin Gannon hails from central New
Jersey, where at an early age she identified her appreciation for
animals and their well-being.
Dr. Gannon graduated from Rutgers University, the
State University of New Jersey in 2004 with a B.S. in Animal
Science. Upon graduation, she headed off to the Buckeye State
to start veterinary school at the Ohio State University College of
Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Gannon earned her Doctor of
Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and began working at Village Gate Animal
Hospital & Pet Resort. Being a general practitioner is
something she truly enjoys. She is delighted at the prospect
of counseling pet owners about their pet's health and building
strong doctor/patient relationships with her clients. Her
special interest in veterinary medicine include internal medicine,
dermatology, soft-tissue surgery, and emergency medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Gannon enjoys hiking, camping,
gardening, cooking, and drawing. Dr. Gannon currently resides
in Grandview with her fiance and three adopted dogs Holly, Guinness,
and Sierra.
